PROMOTING SCIENTIFIC AWARENESS THROUGH SCHOOL-BASED CLUB ACTIVITIES: A REPORT ON MOON DAY AND OZONE DAY CELEBRATIONS Bhavya T D Abstract Science education becomes meaningful when students receive opportunities to explore, question, and express scientific ideas beyond textbooks. School science clubs play a significant role in providing such learning experiences. This article reports the Science Club activities conducted during my teaching internship, namely Moon Day (July 21) and Ozone Day (September 16). The activities included collage making, poster making, quiz, video presentation, and story writing competitions. The report highlights the planning, execution, student involvement, learning outcomes, and the overall significance of these programs in enriching science education at the school level.
